Thanksgiving Flower Poem by John Que

Thanksgiving Flower

We became friends in grade 6.
Since then life rolled on with all of it's slips.

Friendships anew and Oh the smiles,
Over the hills and through the miles.

I'm glad to cross paths again after all this time.
Even after 29!

Through the toil of our day it yields a flower,
By the grace of Christ's saving power.

That's how you've become as you are,
Not as a bud afraid to tell her story,

But as a Morning flo'r...
Full of Glory!
