That Moment Poem by Nhlakanipho Musa Buthelezi

That Moment

The fear was on my eyes
Couldn't hold you tight
But holding you felt so right
It had to hurt
My heart was beating so hard, but I enjoyed each and every moment.
Every word kept on sleeping
I wanted to say it the right way.

I looked at you and I liked you,
I saw you walk towards me,
My heart started beating unusual.
My eyes were highly stolen
By the looks of a wonderful woman,
My eyes saw that woman of my dreams
Dreams that I would love to live in
I closed my eyes, opened them again
And you were around me smiling

My mind never conceived such beauty you have
I immediately grew very fond you
I liked, I like
That moment when I had so many things to say
But I was left so speechless
Till I had three to say
I had to tell you but the time wasn't right

I continuously looked at you
From toe to head,
Body shape and everything
Until I reached a point
Again looked at your face,
I was like glued, my eyes were stuck
I was frozen
Every part in my body couldn't move
I had to keep looking at you

Every move that you made
Was replayed back in slow motion
I thought it was one of those dreams.
I couldn't speak
I had to keep saying it you beautiful
I know its kinder boring
But to me, its kinder new

Till my mind got back,
I started to talk some sense
That moment, I kept on thinking
'If I were to call her mine, Id score a jackpot
She is so beautiful
I like her in fact I love her
I want to make her mine'

That moment I couldn't take my eyes off you
You kept on smiling, making to blush
I had to make a splash
'Can we take a picture? '
I dig your pause
That moment I lost my mind
I blew a surprise
She NGIMTHANDILE! !
