That Unbeaten Path Poem by Emma Alberts

That Unbeaten Path

Why do you wanna tell me
How to live my life?
Who are you tell me
How to live my life?

I'm going on my own
Not gonna follow their path
Leave me alone
Gotta get on my way

Rocks and stones
On that unbeaten path
In between my toes
And all down my back

Sun beating down
Not gonna gimme no break
Jumping over lizards
And venomus snakes

Running out of water
And running out of chow
Low on energy
What do I do now?

Waiting for a rescue
Better get here soon
Before I go crazy
And act like a bafoon

Falling down slowly
Taking one more breath
Closing my eyes
To a starving death

I can see from your words that your struggling but don't lose hope. The Sunlight is probably closer than you think - AnnEWaz!
