That Very Moment Poem by Izma Rindamelia Effendy

That Very Moment

He has been in one of those dreams that cannot be forgotten easily
The one dream that feels even more real than the reality
You can almost touch it and see how it unites with every beat of your heart, that is fed by your own understanding of love

You can hear it whisper, quietly
Speak, gently, in a language we can never truly comprehend
As if they have been living beside our shoulder and silently singing the truest sound of life
That human sometimes forget
Forget what it feels like to be lost and then found
Forget how it feels like to be found and then loved
With the purest kind of love there is
By the most beautiful looking angel with warmth in his heart and sincerity in his eyes

Nothing matters anymore but that very moment
When he was walking towards me, with a glance of smile, reflecting a beam of freedom and hope
Then there we were
In a silence
With the breeze briefly blowing and the cherry flowers blossoming

That moment, I knew I was loved
That moment, I knew we were meant to be together
And for the first time in a very long time, starting from that moment on
I am now peacefully content
