a haunting flare

drifting away
my visions unclear

or I'll lose it I swear

endless river
oceans of pain
flowing steadily
with nothing to gain
falling freely
this acidic rain

covers of fire
burns the memory
awakens the liar
a conspiracy theory
strangled and stuck
adds one more why
dwelling on that luck
waiting to die
