The Act Of Defenestration Poem by Althea Tan

The Act Of Defenestration

Defenestration.
What a beautiful word.

From a looming tower
To hill shack near

Through the frame
And out the glass.
Escape evisceration
Through narrow pass.

Fall through the continuum
And as you fall, via defenestration,
pray and hope, that you
land in a water station

But if you don't,
And land on grass,
Hey, at least you won't go via immolation!
