The After Effect Poem by J Sheba Anandhi

The After Effect

Throwing a stone into a pond,
Would lead to the formation of ripples,
If a single piece of rock at hand
Can give a transformation that makes circles,
Then think about the power of rock,
How better can you be apt to mock!
The after effect commences with a dot,
And keeps oscillating from the centre spot,
The inference is nothing difficult to unknot,
Though the stone is small in comparison
To the pond in which it falls,
The disturbance on the whole is in unison
With the one taking the calls,
Utter your words with great care,
There is nothing much to actually prepare,
Courteous words can create a very good ambiance,
Harsh words can make people lose their tolerance.
