The Air Conditioner From Poem by Haley Akin

The Air Conditioner From

What a roar
That cools me down
Like an ocean waves rolling round

What a rumble
That clicks and bangs
Like a giant monster locked in chains

What a racket
Can't you keep it down?
Like a great big man on my wall it pounds

All I want
Is a quiet breeze
Not this roaring train! Be silent PLEASE!

Is it worth it?
For just a few degrees
To listen to this wretched air conditioners screams?
