Tear Lake Poem by Haley Akin

Tear Lake

Rating: 5.0

When tears no longer fall
The words then take their place
Flowing from a lake within
She hopes no others face

A loss of such great magnitude
It damned that lake with shock
No trickles of the water now
But a voice the wind has brought

With a tone that no other had
She knows from whom it comes
Her child that had gone to soon
Whose voice she truly loves

A beauty only she can see
This lake exudes of him
A feeling that she thought was lost
Now for her... shall never dim

She stands alone along the shore
And listens to every sound
Writing all that she can hear
A new hope she has now found

Nothing like a mother telling about her love, what a magnificant power of the soul it is to witness this mother love...........wonderful Jim Troy

Beautiful poem Haley, you never forget, but time does ease the suffering. God bless.
