The rain is heavy falling from above
The tears of the angels are shed in love
They can see what man down here is doing
Love in the world is what they are pursuing

Open your heart and let the angels come through
Light the candle don’t let your life turn blue
The world around is a mystery I know
And sometimes it hurts when you feel the blow

Mankind gives love but also its hate
Please help us to close the gate
Send the love in your heart across the world
Let you spirit fly and your feeling uncurl

Mankind needs you love more than ever
On the cusp of disaster, you can be the lever
Tip the scales so that he does not fall
Help him from his knees he does not have to crawl

Stand tall in the crowd and sing your song
Your voice can be heard when it sings out strong
Let the world hear your voice and tell them of love
Bring back the softness on the wings of the dove

Your spirit is energy that is inside you
Let the world see who you are and shine on through
Life is for living and freedom is the call
Help mankind stand against the squall

His time here, is now at the point
Each must decide if we are to disappoint
The spirits breathed life, into mankind
The life was given from a heart that is kind

Repay the debt with the love in your heart
From nature and spirit don’t be apart
They are one in the same within your heart
Realise the truth and the world will restart

So I close the poem just a few short words
Love
Respect
Friendship
Kindness
These words are small but the meaning large
