The Answers Poem by RACHEL ZARANTONELLO

The Answers

Have you ever needed something,
But didn't have a clue?
Or wanted to hide,
Yet, they follow you?
Do you peek out the windows,
Or never leave your room?
Are you going insane?
Do you feel your entombed?
I'm suffocating. I can't breath.
I can feel your eyes on me.
What is it that you want?
Do you look at what you see?
It's such a tragedy,
That we've all been consumed
Forgotten the sunshine,
Absorbed in the gloom
When you understand YOU
Only then you'll realize
It was there all along.
JUST BEFORE YOUR EYES

Like something we know but didn't know we knew.
