The Apologies
Your apology was late and unexpected.
But I guess, it's never too late to apologize.
My reaction probably wasn't what you were expecting either;
because I'm painfully aware,
an apology doesn't equal a change in dynamic.
It isn't some magical superglue for broken relationships.
I accept your apology - knowing
that you remain unchanged
and that things between us
are likewise, destined
to remain unchanged.
And I apologize too;
I'm sorry that from the start
we were always an unhealthy,
unbalanced yin and yang.

apology from the both side makes a good relation with a long love
A very honest write, often, it is quite easy to say forgive and forget, but the truth is, when you get deeply hurt, the only answer you can find to ease the pain is to forget all together.
