The Aquarium Poem by Janri Gogeshvili

The Aquarium

Rating: 5.0

In the aquarium
Thrown to the shore
Together with the fragments
Of the wrecked ship,
Carelessly swim tiny fish…
They swim quietly,
Without emotion –
Don’t pine for the seas,
Don’t crave for the ocean…

There is a tranquility in your verse and I'm so deeply amazed by it....wonderful poem, simplistic in its approach yet poised with a deep voice..
