With a stroke of the brush
The artist can bring it to life
All the images we see
Are as sharp as a knife
The details are exquisite
From the first touch to the last
Expressing everything on canvas
The impact is quite vast
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Is an expression often used
Art is not always as it seems
Some are more easily confused
What you see is not always what you get
But what you get is always what you see
Each person’s view is diverse
Open up your mind and set it free
Creativity can’t be taught
It’s something built within
Start by removing your boundaries
And listening to all the din
I agree with Douglas, and you may also, as you seem to suggest in the last two lines. Fast paced and nice rhyming. The poem, I mean. Bri :) Sometimes it may be more useful to NOT listen to the din. Or are you referring to internal din?
I think creativity can be nurtured. I like your rhymes and rhythms.

Release your imagination. Make up your own mind. It's what YOU see that counts. A very thoughtful poem, Mike Tom Billsborough
