The Assumption Poem by Gil MAHANEY

The Assumption

Looked into your eyes
There I saw you pleading
Watched your chest heaving
As you were breathing
And dared to presume
That I possessed exactly
What you were needing
Then we touched
All was given
Everything came
Ah to sweetest fruition
There was elegance savagery
The supple mated with the
Strong pleasure heaped a top
Of elation that for once I
Had boldly assumed and
Was so far away from wrong
