The Baby's Laughter Poem by Dead Ducky

The Baby's Laughter

The mom yells at the dad.
The dad hits he mom.
The brother stays in his room,
Craddeling the baby in his arms.
The brother plays with the baby,
Making the baby laugh.
The baby's laughter reaches the fighting couple,
Making the mom stop crying temperarally,
And the dad calm down a little.
The baby falls asleep,
In the tired brother's arms.
The mom fell asleep in the kitchen,
A knife in her hand for protection.
The dad fell asleep on the couch,
Drunk and drolling.
The brother goes to school,
On the verge of crying,
Again,
The brother is tired of his life,
The mom and dad fighting all the time.
The brother finally cracks.
The selfish brother junps,
From the top of the high school.
The baby loses the brother,
And from then on,
The baby doesn't smile, play, or laugh.
The baby only crys,
Waiting for the brother to return.
The baby only had the brother,
And the brother is gone now.
