The Bad Break Up! Poem by Chantelle Hession

The world can be a strange place sometimes its fun sometimes it’s scary everyday its unpredictable

He walks into my life like a breath of fresh air
He kisses my neck softly and twiddles with my hair
We start of as friends with a little harmless flirting
As the days went by the feelings grew

The touch of his hand caressing my skin
Made all these butterflies appear within
Our relationship changes and now were a couple

Before we knew the minutes turned to hours and the hours turned to weeks
We was liking this feeling and the attention we got
It didn’t even bother me when got a spot
He moved himself in and got himself a home
We both got the feeling we were never alone

Everything was going perfect and seemed so great
But then all of a sudden it turned rocky and began to shake
Suspicion kicked in and jealousy grew
The changes that what happening the feeling of what to do

If only he knew it was all in his head
Then this anger and hurt would all be dead
The jealously drove him mad
The suspicion drove him crazy

Everything happened so fast the clock wouldn’t stop
The words that were spoken the tears that fell
Now all that is left is just an empty shell

Break ups are a horrible thing, but it is something we all have to go through and learn by our mistakes it is what makes us the people we are today.
