She lives in an expensive Gold Coast apartment and in business makes her name
But she still seems quite down to earth and she still seems the same
Serena who lived near Melbourne in Mt Evelyn years ago
The trappings of the high life on her doesn't seem to show.

She's in her early thirties and perhaps in her prime
And she knows how to party and to have a good time
Her humor is infectious and laughter she provoke
And she laughs all the louder when she hears a smutty joke.

Not one to lead a boring life and live in the one spot
Since she departed Melbourne she's moved around a lot
Mainly in the Queensland tropics till she moved south to the Gold Coast
And she's now into big business and of life making the most.

Not short of work experience she has had jobs by the score
And she has worked in many towns perhaps twenty maybe more
She's worked as a bar maid, done fruit picking and worked in hospitality
And for a few well known professionals worked as a secretary

The work at any job girl of yester year is business woman of today
But the battler from Mt Evelyn she has made it the hard way
From her apartment balcony on the Gold Coast she can see for miles around
And 'twould seem that the bubbly Miss Trencher for much greater things is bound.
