The beat goes on,
that throbbing pain withen my chest increases,
as the beat goes on,
and on, and on,
the beat gets faster,
every time I see you pass me by without a word,
the beat goes on.....

I know you don't understand,
this pain I feel,
when the beat goes on,
and never ever stops,
to let you breath,
it just can't be real,
this pain I feel....
