The Beauty The People Adorned Very Proudly Is Short Lived!
The people, both young girls and boys,
boast themselves as charming and beautiful,
but it is essential that they should think in mind
that the time will come in old age as a routine
while they have to weep that the beauty
they adorned is lost and will not last longer!
Hence, think that the beauty the people
adorned very proudly is short lived!

அழகழ கென்றே அலட்டித் திரிவார்
அழச்செய்யும் காலமும் ஆங்கே - வழமையாய்
வந்தவரை வாட்டும் வயோதிகத்தில் என்றறிந்து
சிந்தனையில் எண்ணல் சிறப்பு! 1
