The Birds And The Bees Poem by Helen A. Nagy

The Birds And The Bees

You can always tell when
it will rain
The birds will go till
They feel no pain.
They tell us to be ready
The down -pour will be steady
Another of God’s creatures
Is the bumble bee
He sure can smell you see
He is always on my out-door screen Humming and Buzzing
A cacophony mean
When I am cooking
A steak inside
His senses are bona fide
If I give a bite to eat
He would sting me
and retreat.
They will find their own way
Everyday, come what may
