The Blazer Poem by Ronnie Gardner

The Blazer

I am a summer block buster all bravado and excitement
an intricate piece of wiring that com bust into a million
shards of immediate contentment. I am hip-hop's bass
in Fight the Power and the glide of Terminator X's scratch
The future of the Transformer more than meets the identity
Splittin' the earth in atoms in spurts and fits
I am the claws after wolverine's hands grip
I am the Rock star's swagger and the Rapper's spits
I am the opposite of Neo. I am the Mister Smith the glitch
I am the mushroom gun powder of the Dark tower of the repeating gunslinger
I am the Runner and the R and B Singer. Now speculate for a minute.....
place the puzzle together and get a prism, and refocus light, readjust your antenna, I am hip-hop you forgot the old school the anti-thesis of sour current melodrama, I knock you out, so says my grand mama. The Trailblazer.
