The Blue Boy Of Brindavan & Other Poems Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Blue Boy Of Brindavan & Other Poems

The Blue Boy of Brindavan

Where,
Where the blue boy
Of Brindavan
Fluting the pipe
And Radha trying
To overhear
Giving an ear
To the music
So melodiously
Calling?

A Fairly Tall Girl

Rajanigandha
Standing
With a bouquet
Of fragrant icy-white blooms
To present.

An Image

Gandhi
The old man
With the charkha
Spinning yarn
From the handloom wheel
Conjures upon
The mind's plane.

A Shayar

I am a shayar
Just for you, my love
And you coming to me
In terms of shayri
And my romantic shayrana andaz.

The Red Rose

So dazzling and fast-coloured
Is it
The red rose
Gaudy and florid
With the dew drops
Sprinkled over
The dreamy petals.
