The Board Of Deputies Of British Jews Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

To Right a Wrong is their task,
And hopefully they’ll do it fast,
For every Jew in this Country,
More especially for you and me.

Who is this Group of which I speak?
For they stand up for all the meek,
It is The Board of Deputies of British Jews,
Who fight the fight for me and you.

These Deputies throughout this Land
Are appointed to the task in hand,
By Synagogues with different views,
To work together for what is true.

To work united is their aim,
To sound as one voice for our gain,
To avert disaster for Jews Worldwide,
From enemies who seek to be unkind.

They work with Governments and Nations too,
To Right the Wrongs that others do,
It is a pity that All will not join,
Or support them with their many coin.
