The Burning Light In Me Poem by Alec Seabee

The Burning Light In Me

the burning light in me
by the son of night
without symmetry means a hundred years of misery
souls travel eons when flesh and bone decay
alone we rise and fall awaiting the day
a word written with stars
is doctrine for one
dogma for all
deep in the silence hear the call
the devoted shall carry scars
the movements of universe binds us
I am one
you are one
the laws of stars command us to become eleven
so far from the warmth of the sun
my descendant of heaven
