The Captive Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

The Captive

The captives,
The muse of life,
The ways of nature,
The muse of love,
The rules of creation,
Love justice and hate robbery! !
And let your soul be joyful with the works of the truth;
Live in peace,
And share with your neighbours.

The dead do not know anything!
So, why worship the dead?
Wake up! !
Reason up,
Learn!
Be wise enough;
The ways of the wicked are hatred and war!
Killing people and, destroying the world.

A poor wise man,
A poor wise woman,
A poor wise child;
Wisdom is better than strength! !
So, let the truth be praised always;
Than the fruits of lies.

Trance!
At the entrance;
Stance,
Dance! !
The quiet words of a wise person whould be heeded to;
Rather than the shouting of a king of fools!

Illegal lust,
Like a spider hiding in thew deep freezer!
Character,
Life,
With your status in the land;
But, be very wise,
Accepting the works of the truth.

Sent, went, spent!
Talent;
Able to hear the words of the truth,
Based on positive morals,
Living on earth without hurting anyone.

The captive,
In life;
Looking for a safe place!
The place of love and,
The place of the truth;
Hope! !
Looking up,
Forward,
To lipf up!
Your heart;
With the works of the truth.

It will come!
One day,
Hope for it;
With the muse of truth,
Bringing joy and gladness,
With ideas.

The captive!
Of life;
But with hope,
For freedom! ! !
One day.
