The Captured Tiger Poem by Nischal Kashyap

The Captured Tiger

Fire was all around me,
There was nothing to see.
A single moment of blindness
led to all this loneliness.

They use my tail bone
And then watch me groan,
They don't care,
They just aren't fair.

Roll my eyeballs and make pills
And I can never see all of life's thrills
To make you energized with pieces of our brains,
They have to keep us in rusty chains.

There are countless shining stars,
Through all these wicked bars
My world will soon be blurred
As all my cries go unheard

I don't need to find any glee
Just have to be free!
Freedom flows through my veins
Which helps me fight my daily pains

All the things that I ever wanted to do,
Just stuck there like strong glue.
My dream will only come true
If only I flew

Free me please
Don't let me freeze
