The Chocolate Lover's Prayer Poem by James P. Roberts

The Chocolate Lover's Prayer

Our chocolaterian
who maketh our heaven
hallowed be thy fame.
Your Candinas come, thy Brachs be done
when you're open from seven to eleven.

Give us this day our daily Ghirardelli
and forgive us our Cadbury's
as we forgive those who Nestle against us
and lead us into delicious temptation
but deliver us from pale imitations.

For thine is the chocolate kingdom.
The power of the dark.
The glory of the white.
Now and forever.Amen.

(audience) Amen.

May the chocolate be with you.

(audience) And also with you.

Go now in Reese's Pieces.
