Though the concept of the Chosen People
Throws God into an unenviable light
And is revolting to humanity exalted
With a shudder, we recognize the cruel fact
We would love to think of the Heavenly Father
Who is all love and compassion beyond measure
May each man believe he is among the chosen
Faith need not always be based on facts proven
The energy born of faith can be infinite
Ultimately, we are what we think we are
