The Circle Poem by William F Glennon

The Circle

I made it through another day.
I did the best I can with the chance given.

I can buy a clock but not the time.
I am running in place now and time is unforgiving.

Life has come full circle now, the emptiness still
lingers. Right or wrong I need to be strong.

This mountain will be a hard climb.
To rise above the suffering and dismay.

I need a reason to believe.
The more I talk, the less I hear.

I am lost and need to know what to fear.
God knows I am tired of the tears.
