The City Of Wind Poem by Kato Sama

The City Of Wind

Please take me there, to the city of wind,
A palace were the mind can wonder
Where clouds are daily dealings with your dreams
As above us they merrily dance
Please take me there, to the dream in the sky
A floating castle made of hope.

The inspiration of my blooming hope
Lies within the dormant walls of the city of wind,
Which blazes in glory in the sky
And leaves you and I to wonder
Our imaginations dance
Hand in hand with our dreams.

At night while restless in my dreams
My eyes fill with gleaming hope
As my soul does dance
And gust with joy, livelier than the wind
I think about the place where our minds wonder
And if you’ll take me to the miracle in the sky

Time passes through like the sun in the sky
I am left with merely my dreams
Will I be able to coalesce my desires, I wonder
To step foot in the city of hope
And to stand with you, my valentine, through the wind
You hold my hand and make my heart dance

When we get there, I’ll ask you to dance
On the clouds that patrol the sky
Your presence is like the gales of wind
That billow through my dreams
And give me an array of hope
With you, I don’t have to wonder

At last, as the days pass, I have to wonder
And my doubt and anticipation dance
The fleeting feeling of my losing hope
I begin to wonder if I’ll ever reach the sky
For it’s to only you I reveal my dreams
So, will you take me to the city of wind?

High above, somewhere in the sky,
You take me up, where the dreams do dance
Like the tails of the untamed wind
