The Clock Poem by Patrick van der Loos

The Clock

The clock keeps ticking.
All the hours of a day.
So I listen.
Passing the time away.
Marking my life.
Slipping into the future.
Measuring sanity.
Prodding the insane.
The end never comes.
God’s blessing and curse.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
