The Cover Of A Face Poem by Cerys Grant

The Cover Of A Face

Do not judge a book by its cover,
This we have been told.
Do not judge a man by his face,
Sometimes the darkest of eyes
Hold the brightest of souls,
And sometimes
This is not the case.

Judge a man by his mask
What he hides
He holds.
