At a crossroad, I stand alone,
Uncertain where my path is known,
Left or right, which way to go,
A decision I must make, but how to know?
To the left, where nobody is left,
An empty road, a lonely cleft,
No one to guide, no one to help,
But perhaps a chance to find myself.
To the right, where nobody is right,
An uncharted course, a daring flight,
No one to follow, no one to trust,
But maybe a path that I must.
Overthinking is killing me,
My mind's a maze, I cannot see,
The choice I make, will it be right,
Or lead me further into the night?
A young man with too many woes,
Health and wealth, my burden grows,
Living or dead, which one am I,
The answer elusive, the question why?
Should I succumb and let it end,
Or persevere and try to mend,
The pieces of my shattered heart,
And make a brand-new start?
At a crossroad, I still stand,
But now I see, I understand,
The road I take, it's up to me,
To live or die, to set myself free.
