Just like earth has its moods,
Love has its grooves.
The earth has a fiery temper,
Love is a forever-lit fire,
It can be put out by watery tears,
But the ashes remain, I fear.
Earth can be barren,
As if the heart has not found love,
Love can be teary,
Because rain falls from above.
Just like earth has its moods,
Love has its grooves.
The weather can be windy,
Romantic moods can descend,
The moon can rise up,
Forever to light that secret bend.
The flowers blossom,
As a heart starts to love,
The beasts purr,
As it warms the world like a stove.
Just like earth has its moods,
Love has its grooves.
The crunch of autumn leaves,
The rumble of the heart from within,
The music rises to a crescendo,
The sounds get ready,
Get steady, and into the Cosmos
They GO!
Tears of sadness,
Come on cold, rainy days,
Cries of happiness come when
The Sun sends down its rays.
Just like earth has its moods,
Love has its grooves.
