I am sitting here alone in my room
Accompanied by pale shadows and gloom
I paint your picture with my blood on the wall
As into the abyss of my nightmares I fall
I long to see your beautiful face
O, creation of beauty, love, and grace

I dissolve in the raven black night
Searching for you my holy light
I cry like God cries the rain
Without you my life turned into pain
I can’t live without you, no need to pretend
For you I am grateful to die to be with you till the end

I long for your kiss so sweet and so pure
Being away from you, I can’t endure
Let me embrace you, just come to me
We will sail away into the open sea
We will fly on wings of love to the sun
Only you and me my divine one

But that is just a dream of a dream of love
I roam this scorched earth but you are in the sky above
I am alone and alone I shall always be
Forever till eternity, because you are not with me
I will hide away, away from the sun
Because you are my one and only sun

In your shadow I crawl scorched by the shame
As the twilight whispers to me softly your name
You smile as I cry for you a river of tears
You leave me alone in the land of fears
When you are with me, I am killing loneliness
But when we part, I drown in the lonely endlessness

A crusader of love I am and will be
As long as my scared heart will beat inside of me
You heart is my crusades destination
Because loving you is my eternal obligation
And if destiny will blow us oceans apart
Your name will still be engraved across my heart

Summer passed by and winter is here
And I feel that my end is near
Without you my love, I will not rest in peace
Not in the skies above, not over the turbulent seas
If I shall fall in my sacred crusade for your love
My lonely spirit will watch over you from the sky above
Hoping and praying that you will join me one day
And together on wings of sacred love we shall fly away
