The Damsel Of The Night Poem by Alice Wu

The Damsel Of The Night

The damsel of the night,
Suddenly caught my eyes,
Outshone stars in the sky,
And wore a veil of mist,
Waiting still for a kiss.
But now it puzzled me
That the clouds were beset
With gloom on their face.
A light broke in on me.
Cause what they pursued was,
The Full Moon, one and only.
