The Dark Poem by Diwakar Sapkota

The Dark

I fear the dark
For its black
Covers with vengeance of terror,

I fear the dark
For its silence
Makes the dreadful voice of dismay,

I fear the dark
For its gloomy
Makes my mind wholly fazed,

I fear the dark
For it is wide awake
Makes my slink to noise,

I fear the dark
For my heart trembles
With the world lurking at me,
With premonition of something unpleasant.
