The dark clouds fill up
The vast and empty sky
And pour rain across the lands
Through the month of July
And the children wake up
To the sound of thunder
As rain falls over huts and streets
And upon grove and yonder
The dark clouds for days
Hang below the azure sky
Sending flashes of lightening
Through the month of July
Farmers rush to the fields
In a mood so happy and gay
To till their wet lands and to
Sow seeds in the light the day
