The Day Dad Died Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

The Day Dad Died

Rating: 5.0

The Day Dad Died

I cried and cried that much
as such,
all day long,
those tears only belong
the tears from me
to set me free
I could not let go
death of my beloved Papa
too young to die
so much artistic talent
brilliant head of a company
Dearest Dad as I said
he was too young to be dead!

Oh Sylvia, What a sad but loving poem. I also lost my father and he 'was too young to die. He also had a company and I have missed him every day of my life. I know how you feel dear friend I cry with you

I miss both of my parents. My father lived to be 86, but my mother only lived to be 44. No matter what age they are when they go, we always miss them.
