The Death Of My Boss Poem by RUFAI YUSUF

The Death Of My Boss

I found it difficult to believe,
Not until when my leg move to where my eyes witness it.
The tears slowly run out of my eyes,
When I found him covered in the casket.
Life is not more than this?
This was my first question that no one to answer.
Ha!
Life is nothing,
Life is a teacher, the more you live the more you learn.
From your Death, in fact I learnt a lesson.
Life does not worth to be over handled.
We shall all leave one day.
Now I can understand my chemistry teacher that said,
There is CONSTANT when working on Charles's law,
And the mathematician that prove CONSTANTSITY when solving variation.
I now compare it with life; I discover DEATH is also constant in life.
Every move I make,
Every step I take,
Every single Day,
Every time I pray,
I will always miss you.
May your gentle soul rest in peace (Mr. Ghandhi Ubula)
You are indeed a boss,
In fact! You are a role model,
You are my choice of a friend,
You are my choice of a father,
But, not until death snatch you away from us.
Your promise to the safety crew can no longer be fulfilled,
Your love and care on us will be highly missed,
You have thought and lead us by example
We have learnt a lot of good things from watching you
I wonder why? ... Why? Why don't you wait to fulfill all your promise?
Why don't you wait to accomplish your mission towards Sagamu Plant safety performance?
Why don't you wait to drive Sagamu plant to the excellent club?
Why don't you wait to reap the fruit of your labor?
These were my other questions I found no answer for.
I taught of what to do
How to retrieve your soul back
I remember am not in that power
I bow my head and my eyes were closed
Then I said, GOOD bye sir
Till we meet in the dream
Your death is a pain to the entire Sagamu Plant
Though we love you, but God loves you most.
SUN RE O! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
