The Deeper Meaning Of Disneyland (Serious) Poem by Chuy Amante

The Deeper Meaning Of Disneyland (Serious)

Rating: 5.0

When one seeks smiles,
life's fullest worth
He obviously would go
to the happiest place on Earth.

I hope for most
this is a no-brainer
Where we all go
to get more saner.

Dear world if you don't know
its always warm
but they too have snow

It's the Magical Kingdom
it doesn't get better
Come see Mickey and Minnie
in her sweater! ...

Now let's get back,
I've gotten excited
and gone off track.

Come on man, it's Disneyland! ! ! ! !

So we've all been there
we paid the fare
always a good selection
~But who of you sat quietly there?
Turned within for serious reflection?

'Why am I here? '
'What is my purpose? '
'Is that really God
upstairs behind
the control panel surface? '
'Where is my true place here? '
'What comes after here? '
.........

'Come on! ! I bark!
You don't do this each time
in your favorite Theme Park?

Why do you go there, just to feel?
A sugar rush an anti-gravity field?

YES, that is exactly why I'm here!
Hell, I'm even enjoying, snuck-in beer!

~~~NOW, what is the difference?
Between a Disney-World and your life?
Both are for feeling, experiencing
highs and lows thru strife!
At the Amusement Park we call Earth
We find all extremes
they define worth
Come on!
Jump in, take a splash,
jump the fence,
bring lots of cash
We are here for the thrills
and for the beer
to experience smiles
and hate
while dancing with queers!
Come on!
Don't take this place serious
it would only make you quickly delirious!
(but that is OK too!)
Disneyland daily is your future!
let go of serious,
time to shoot yer
fun gun! ! !
Come on!
