The Devil Of Heaven Poem by Aditya Sakariya

The Devil Of Heaven

The dark night engulfs the sky,
Leaving no single ray to pass through it.
The sky had not a single sign of happiness,
It was as if the Lord was, for once, upset with earth.

Neither the sky, nor the land made any sound,
All were silent as death.
An enormous and thick fog prevailed the earth,
Poisoning every bit that is in its way.

A huge cloud slowly from the sky moves on,
Making way for the bright moonlight.
As the ground was touched by the bright moonlight,
It sprang life, beauty and purity.

The only source of, the moonlight, of hope,
For vision and clearness.
The moonlight was a spark,
A spark some poise.

But, the moon had dark side too,
Hidden from the visible eye
Out from the bushes it rose,
Changing drastically from divine to hell,
It left nothing in its way, as it passed.

A huge mouth, sharp teeth did it have,
Scarier than all the nightmares,
It dark and dangerous,
It was the Devil of Heaven.
