You were the most important person in my life
Maybe you still are
But now you seem to be fading
And that hurts me deeply.

I can honestly say that you've changed my life
Impacted it in a way that helped me grow as a person
And not only made me a better person
But a better friend.

If it wasn't for you
I really wouldn't have as many friends
As many people to enjoy life with
But I would trade them all for my best friend.

You are probably the most amazing person I've ever met
The way that you deal with everything in your life
And still have time to laugh and be happy
It's something that I couldn't do if I was in your situation.

If only we could go back nine months
Back to the best days of my life
Because I blinked, and they went by
And now they're gone forever.

I can't lose someone who meant so much to me -
Who MEANS so much to me -
Because that's like having a diamond in your hands
And dropping it
And leaving it for someone else to find.
