The Doomed One Poem by Francesca Mia Victoria

The Doomed One

It is very confusing and frustrating
To believe in one heartbroken lover
Who still loves the one person whom she broke
And whom he broke hers in return

Mending the internal wounds and
The breaking aching heart pounds
Onto a simple thump and pump rhythm
Thump and pump, thump and pump…

She tried to create reasons
For herself and her deceived ones to believe
Through the sobbing seasons
Where every chip of her rotten heart can leave

Away from the fixed solids of her two sided world
Insane as she has become
As every corner of her perfect parallels curled
Upside down, inside out and out she comes!

The Bizarro of her own xerox self
The reversed reflection of her one self mirror
Out she conquered the controlled
Flipping one side of a card of queens of hearts

To a side of a darkly mysterious looking yet a wicked joker
With a gripping grim grin
Once bleak and out she leaks
Flashing every broken pieces left of her poker face
