The Dove Poem by Sky McCoy

The Dove

Rating: 5.0

She's so different
So much more mature than the rest
Determined to disappoint judgemental impurities
But yet I have held her so many times
and the hard shell falls off everytime
I've experienced the vulnerable side of this dark angel
The side of her that lets its guard down
But yet I don't understand why she's into me of all people
Confusion has filled my mind of
Is it infatuation or love?
Whatever fills my head,
I know I love everything single thing about this dark angel
She's a beautiful being inside and out
And when I hold her
My heart skips a beat
Everything goes silent
And her lips touch mine
She has the lips of an angel
and the personality of a dove
