**the Drama! Poem by RAJ NANDY

**the Drama!

Rating: 5.0

THE DRAMA!
Wait my friends for the curtain to rise,
The drama of life shall unfold in just a while,
For which you all have paid a price!
Some of you are in the front row, while others
in your balcony seats, -
Have an equal chance to view this show!
No need to see your watch since Time is that
only thing, -
Which has been granted in equal portion to
each human being!
But after the curtain rise, some my laugh
and others cry!
And a few may even remain mute and dumb!
Please don’t interrupt in between to ask me
why!
For I have yet to find out who am I ? !
Wait for the climax of the last scene which
shall explain;
When the king, the knight and the pawns,
Shall enter the same black box at the end!
For then you shall have no grounds for any
complaints!
Have patience dear friends till the drama ends!
And I just remembered there is one thing more;
Please don’t disclose the climax to others,
as you get up and go!
For that would mar the entire show!
What, you say they already know?
The climax of this great grand show? !
Well, let it not be you who should tell!
Let each individual find his destined end!

Dr Nandy. It is a great poem. A great metaphor of life! Yes, though the Drama is same, viewers see it with different perceptions. On viewing it some will weep, some laugh and some others scoff! Thanks for sharing this composition with us. Warmest regards.
