In the dry and dusty fields
We see cattle grazing
How they find enough food
Is indeed quite amazing
They don’t seem to worry though
As they snip off the dry stubs
They chew slow and contentedly
On their dusty noonday grub
A new planting season
Will start again soon
And instead of dry stalks
Lush green will return
Equipment is ready
Lingering in the dust
Working up the land again
Is certainly a must
Spring is around the corner
And a new crop will grow again
Tall and ripe and beautiful
A new harvest will then begin!
