I have lived in the shadows
of utter darkness
the slow fire burning
in my flesh
the taste of pure death...
still fresh
I have forever been fixing
myself at crossroads
and that could never
be living.
But a new world has come
into view
the wind has
whispered the clue
I have experienced
the element
that sparks an intense
real life
one of hope, love
and integrity
