The Elephant, The Black, Grey Elephant Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Elephant, The Black, Grey Elephant

The elephant,
Dark black, grey elephant,
Trumpeting and moving ahead,
Into a herd,
Crossing the forest
With the mates,
The wild elephant
With the tusk,
The trunk and the tail,
The eyes big-big,
The legs pillar-like
And the body mammoth
Just like a rock, a stone block.
